Today, a special moment is on the agenda for thirteen talents (students) from West Talent: the graduation ceremony.

DAEL and the organization of the Maasdijkrun have signed a three-year sponsorship contract. This means that the 5-kilometer run will remain linked to our name in the coming years: the 5 van DAEL.

In 2026 we celebrate a special milestone: 25 years of DAEL. What started as an ambitious idea of two brothers has grown into a strong and innovative group of companies that makes daily impact. A quarter of a century of building, growing and especially working together.

Since January 1, 2026, DAEL and West Talent have been proud main sponsor of CKV Dijkvogels. With this collaboration, both organizations underline their involvement in the local community and contribute to the sports fun of young and old in Maasdijk.

Since early 2026 we joined TVVL, the knowledge platform for installation technology. This gives our colleagues access to current knowledge, training and innovations within the industry. A nice step with which we continue to invest in craftsmanship and development.

For the interior of our new building, we chose the cable carrying systems from Stago. The pleasant cooperation has been immortalized in a video.

DAEL Energy has realized a smart PV installation for Dutch Flower Group (DFG) in Aalsmeer. By analyzing and optimizing the energy consumption of the location, both parties have taken an important step towards a more sustainable and future-proof energy supply.

On 7 April 2025, Westland Infra Netbeheer and Energiecollectief Honderdland signed the group contract formalising their collaboration for a sustainable energy supply on the business park.

MAASDIJK – The construction of the new business premises of DAEL Group is in full swing. The first pile has been driven at business park Honderdland phase 2 in Maasdijk. Last Friday all colleagues and the construction team raised their glass to this festive moment. Over the coming months work is proceeding on this new construction that is expected to be operational during 2023.

DAEL Group and Mitie announced today that they have reached an agreement on the business acquisition of DAEL Ventures Ltd. by Mitie Group.

MAASDIJK - On Tuesday 29th of June 2021 construction company 'Van Mierlo Bouw & Ontwikkeling' and technical business group DAEL Group officially signed for the construction of the new business premises of DAEL Group at business park Honderdland fase II in Masdijk.

MAASDIJK –DAEL Connectivity's point-to-poit 10 Gigabit radio link connects the Worldstream facility with the head office of DAEL, at about 6KM distance. At Worldstream’s data center location in the Netherlands, in Naaldwijk, DAEL Connectivity installed satellite dishes in a 60-meter high mast. In this way, Worldstream's datacenter can be used by DAEL to safely store video data of its AI-based smart camera surveillance service as well as various types of other data. Worldstream and DAEL customers in the Westland area in the Netherlands also benefit from this 60-meter high mast with radio transmission-based connectivity. It provides them the ability to have their premises easily be connected with the Worldstream data center.

SCHIPHOL – At Amsterdam Schiphol Airport our engineers are busy renovating and renewing Terminal 1. This will create more space which makes the travel proces faster and which makes it passible to offer more facilities. Tomorrow morning at 4 AM the first ten lanes will be opened and the first travellers can make use of these security lanes that are equipped with ClearScan® hand luggage scans and ProVision 2® bodyscans. DAEL Security has been appointed by Leidos to install and maintain these scans for the Schiphol Group.

MAASDIJK – Today, Friday 27 November, DAEL Data & Electro signed the contract fot the new building project called 'Paulina' at business area Honderdland fase II in Maasdijk. The construction of this  impressive office building will start in the beginning of 2021. If everything goes according to plan, the building will be set to work by the end of 2021. DAEL Data & Electro has been commissioned to install the complete electrical installation of this new building.

Yesterday it was time for the finals of TopCoach of the Year 2020. Our trainers of the vocational education Diana van der Kaay and Leo Dekker have been nominated by the DAEL Talents and they made it to the finals! This year it went different as supposed to last years. There was a fully corona proof meeting to appreciate all the finalists, partly from the studio in Utrecht and partly online. Unfortunately, Diana and Leo didn't end on the first place, but they can surely be proud at their place in the finals.

SCHIPHOL – Currently, Terminal 1 at Schiphol Airport is being renewed and renovated. The airport is creating more space to be able to offer more facilities and more travel comfort. DAEL Security has been commissioned by Leidos to provide this new terminal with 21 security lanes, equipped with ClearScan® hand luggage screeners and ProVision 2® body scans. At the end of November 2020, the first lanes will be operational. All lanes will be opened May 2021.
