DAEL Security present at NCT Europe 2018
Thursday 5 July 2018
VUGHT - This week the 7th edition of the NCT Europe 2018 took place at the National Training Center in Vught. DAEL Security was represented for the first time this year with a selection of our portable detection equipment that was showcased to the public. The official partnership with the Dutch Ministry of Defense drew the presence of the most prominent CBRNe stakeholders from all over Europe.
NCT Europe is an event series organized in relation to IB Consultancy and intended for a wide audience of stakeholders in the field of detection and disposal of chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear resources (CBRN). This 7th edition of Europe's extremely successful NCT event series took place from 3-5 July in the National Training Center (NTC) in the Bredero barracks in Vught. At the three-day event there was enough space for live CBRNe demonstrations, a conference stream, several workshops, training sessions for civil and military workers and there was also room for a large indoor and outdoor exhibition. Every evening the event ended with a (network) BBQ and live performance.
During these days, delegates from DAEL Security were present to demonstrate and talk about a selection of our handheld detection devices. For example; the Verifinder, ETD H150E and ETD B22 desktop, NOVO portable X-ray, HBI-120 backscatter and HIPE Multizone metal detection portal were presented to the public. At the stand it was also possible to try out the products themselves.
The NCT Europe 2018 event proved to be an ideal balance between network opportunities, demonstrations and live exercises, interactive workshops and conferences. In short; a very successful (network)event at a fascinating location. And we can already tell you that the 8th edition of NCT Europe will take place in Vienna next year!
